BACKGROUND
Canon Medical wanted to transform their Leith office to create a brighter, more modern and flexible working environment that better reflected their business and supported the needs of their staff.
Working alongside Canon Medical, their designer and furniture supplier, we helped bring their vision to life, turning a tired office into a contemporary workplace designed to support collaboration and flexibility.
PROCESS
The project involved the full refurbishment of their existing space, with the careful strip-out of the existing office, including ceilings, floor finishes, partitions, doors, kitchen and mechanical and electrical services. Throughout the works, all common areas were protected and site management ensured minimal disruption to the other tenants in the building.
With the installation of stud partitions, the office was reconfigured to create new meeting and training spaces, while existing glazed partitioning and doors were retained and reused where possible. A new suspended ceiling system, carpet tiles, decorations and upgraded mechanical and electrical services were installed throughout to deliver a brighter and more efficient workspace.
The kitchen was fully refurbished with new worktops, replacement cupboard doors, integrated appliances and improved waste facilities, while our joinery team completed all associated finishing works and making good to ensure a high-quality finish across the project.
RESULTS
By close collaboration with the client, their design team and furniture supplier we made use of as much of the existing office as we could, working to their budget and environmental requirements.
The completed refurbishment has transformed Canon Medical's office into a modern, functional and welcoming workplace that better supports collaboration, meetings and day-to-day operations.
