BACKGROUND
Turner & Co are a fourth generation family business who have been building companies for over 100 years.
After selling on their previous industrial space in Govan the client was keen to create a high end welcoming environment for staff and clients alike, supporting their transition from a plant hire business to private investment.
Another project we successfully tendered, this time with a design team consisting of Ryden (Project Manager), Graven (Interior Design) and Harley Haddow (M&E Design).
PROCESS
Works were delivered within the live Beacon Building in Glasgow city centre and we were in close communication with the landlord (Robert Jones Holdings) throughout the works. To ensure minimal disruption to tenants and the building itself we protected all common areas and tightly managed all logistics.
The project involved a full strip-out and reconfiguration of the existing space, creating a premium working environment with a mix of private offices, meeting rooms, boardroom facilities, and open-plan areas. Works included the installation of new metal stud and glazed partitioning, bespoke joinery, feature finishes, and high-quality flooring throughout.
Mechanical and electrical services were fully upgraded, including new lighting, power and data distribution, and modifications to HVAC systems to suit the new layout and occupancy requirements.
RESULTS
The completed space represents a significant investment and shift in direction for the client, providing a modern, high-end workplace aligned with their new identity and future growth.
